Now this is tempting! But still have to drop coin on forged rods, crank, and pistons. What about electronics? What would you have to do, swap computers?

If you're going that way with upgraded rods/pistons etc, butter up your local dealers and buy a warrentied 6.4 BG truck engine.Up here in Canada you can usually buy the warrentied 6.4 truck engines for 900 bucks,so down south they should be even cheaper. The 6.4 truck block is a better block to work with,it's the same block as the Hellcat block, and makes a great foundation for a 426 build.Seeing as how you plan on replacing everything inside the block, why not start with the better block
