I've got a 2017 Big Horn Crew Cab with 6'4". I kept the rack because it only makes sense to have the extra travel for when I haul.
Truck has 3.21 which sometimes I am irked over but not really.

I put the lift on at 1,400 miles. I've now got just about 19k and still love this truck.
No complaints at all about the lift, ride, comfort or MPG.

Long highway driving it holds steady at 20mpg and that's last based on a road trip with my lovely wife out to Tennessee and back to Maryland.

Only issue I have had is a water leak from the front and rear window seals which got taken care of.

Anyone out there have any issues with their truck after a lift?

I've got about 7k on my rough country 4.5" lift and so issues as of yet. What size tires are those? Looks like 35's I went with 20" wheels and 37" tires.

Like the ride. ed9f172992cf55c318fe81f95a5cb98e.jpg

My ‘17 half ton is stock, so I cant comment on the lift part.

But your truck looks damn good! And I love seeing the full size can and box... those are pretty damn rare for sure!

What do you mean by full size can and box? Oh wait. Cab lol. I'd have done an 8' bed if it was offered. Thanks for the like :)

If I was patient enough I'd have gotten a mega cab 2500 with the manual transfer but I'd have wanted to do a mega cab power wagon and I dont think they would have built that for me.

Um no, they wouldn't have. They only build crew cab short box wagons.

And I was commenting on the OP’s truck... crew cab half tons with a full size short box are rare as hens teeth.

You can get the mega cab with a 6.5 box. If you custom order one they will do a manual transfer. At least that's what the dealer said. But dealers are like public defenders. They tell you anything.

Well yes, you can get the mega cab with the 6’4” box. That is actually the only way you can get it. I think as long as you get the lower model package (like a tradesman, maybe bighorn) then it will have a manual tcase.

But you cant get a mega cab power wagon. It is only offered in one body configuration (which is dumb).

True, but the question is if you pay for it will they build it? I just want a pw with the extra rear storage.

Hell no they wont.
As far as I know, if its not a regular “check the box option”, then it isnt happening.

sorry about getting off topic OP!

I could not stand the shorter 5'7" bed.

My neighbor bought one after I got my truck. I'm so glad I got the 6'4"

Lifted crew cab 6'4" bed owner checking in... The truck has been nothing but fantastic. The BDS/Bilstein/Mevotech/Timber Grove set up has performed well off road, towing a small load, and hauling all sorts of stuff. I would like to get the front billys up to 2.8 (they are set at 2.1 right now) to get rid of some of the rake caused from the rear bags, but before that's done, I'll probably upgrade the control arms to Zone or BDS.
