6 inch lift with 17 inch wheels

I got in touch with RC today and they admitted that 17's can fit despite what the website says. As long as they are the right spec you're good. So that's the truth about RC.

Now if I could just get more guys to post pics with 17's...

The info on your post is like finding gold for me! I'm planning on getting the same wheels and you just sealed that deal. Is your truck lifted w/ a rough country kit or is it using just the Bilstein set at 2.8? or is it using both?

I'm fairly confident RC is/was referring to the factory 17" wheels. If I ever did any real off roading, I very likely would have gone with a 17/35 combo, cause DAMN it looks good.

After finding the info on this thread today, I decided to have a chat with RC staff and they replied with "NO - ONLY 20" RIMS." All in CAPS. I'm suspecting that they are getting tired of answering this same question over and over and over - lol!

I was worried as well that my freshly powder coated 17 inchwheels would not fit after installing the RC 6 inch lift kit. But they definitely fit with zero rubbing.
