6" zone lift?

Has anybody had a 6" zone lift? I'm between zone and BDS and I know they are or were owned by the same company. I've got a budget and the zone lift seems to fit mine quite nicely. I just can't find anything bad about the lift. Any thoughts? Experiences? It's my first lift. I do 4x4 but nothing crazy.

Zone is a great lift and a lot of people on here run them.

There is only a 900 hundred dollar difference though between zone and bds, which makes me kinda want to op for the bds to get their no question ask warranty

Well I'm in Canada shopped around a lot of difference places and so far I've found I can get te 6" zone installed with taxes for 2700$ or the 6" BDS for 4500$ and to me that's a big price difference for me. If no one can say anything bad about the zone than I might stick with the zone lift. This will be my first lifted truck and I just want to make sure the zone isn't a POS

I guess the cost for a bds is more in Canada, then yeah I'll go with the zone, I hear never seen a what is review about it

Keep in mind thats the zone 6" but with 5" rear coils instead of 3"

Hi Op,

I was looking at lifts and the Zone is $2300 installed and the BDS is $2800 installed here in the Con state. If I were to lift the Beast it would be the BDS not because of quality as they are both great kits. But because of the BDS "if it breaks we'll send you a new one" warranty. Either way they are both nice setups.

I have the zone 6" with the 3" rear option. Its a really nice quality lift. Can't go wrong

I haven't read the thread but I heard the BDS warranty is great. Zone has a limited warranty as well just not a "no questions asked" warranty

I went with the zone 5.5 for my 2015 2500 for 2 reasons 1- $ 2- the zone comes with beafy ass radius arms and uses the stock brackets you have to tear them off like you do with bds and they are dropped does not look good with the bds brackets and the kit uses the stock radius arms too.

I have a Zone 5 1/2" lift for a 2016 Ram 3500 that I ordered.
As mentioned in the post above, the radius arms are very beefy and well made.
Entire kit looks very good and a great price.
The D67 kit cost me $1090 ( nitro shocks ) and free shipping.
I'll be installing it as soon as she gets here.

Not sure if you've contacted North Shore Offroad yet but if not give them a shout. They offer a number of different brands and from what I've seen are very competitively priced. I just picked up a few items from them to add on to my truck as was VERY impressed with the pricing.

They have a North Vancouver location and Langley location that you could contact.

I just installed a Zone 5 1/2" kit on my 2016 3500.
Great quality, no install issues at all.

Hi Vancityrob,

BDS makes two lift kits. On e is a lift kit that uses coilovers and that kit is about $1500 US more than the regular lift kit. I wonder if that was why they quoted you so much more for the BDS. In any case both great kits.
