I wouldn't mess with the motor if it runs...just tune it up and drive it.

The easiest way to get at some of the spark plugs on the 413 is by driving it up on ramps and working from underneath the car, especially if it has AC and cruise control.

I'm checking it out this Saturday...I'll see if I can get some better pics and if it is not rotted out. I talked with the gent selling it briefly and he said it came from out West, Oregon way. Hoping there are not rot holes through it that are hidden.

He said he used it for weddings and events/ Will see. It looks like it was last inspected 5 or 6 years ago.

Take some ramps with you so you get it up in the air to look the floors/bottom side over for rot/leaks etc.

I took a look at it today. There is a lot more work that needs to be done to it than I would really be comfortable doing. The interior is in very poor shape. It's not just the ripped seat, the padding has deteriorated and it looks like snakes and mice enjoyed a stay in it. The seats and door panels all need to be re-done. I turned on the lights and there didn't seem to be any running lights there on the back.

For someone who wants to spend the time and money getting it back to a decent driving shape, it would be worth it, but I don't have that kind of money.

Nice enough guy selling, but it seems like he is just trying to get his money out of it that he put into it....and I'll say it was very basic money.

I think I will pass on it. Let someone else enjoy it.
