I don't seem to have the privledges to post in the classifieds, not sure how to get those priviledges so I'll post here, but anyone interested, for a cost I can map out their 65RFE transmission parameters for HP Tuners giving access to parameters far beyond what HP Tuners has mapped. It's a very time consuming process to go through but it's a service I can provide for anyone interested. The additional parameters would be substantial and completely transform the level of transmission tuning you could do. As an example for the 2012 and 2018 68RFE I have over 3000 transmission parameters mapped out.

I'm more the Cummins/68RFE tuner and work on actual Cummins calibration code mods and RFE transmission mapping. I've done a few 65RFE transmission tunes remotely.

Satisfied customer here. Highly recommend the tune and the tuner. I have had it on my 65RFE for 3years/60k miles with no issues. The tune made a big positive difference in the way the truck drives. Would never go back to stock.

haha well thats good. Haven't had any complaints on the 65RFE tuning I've done, in the diesel world, well, some people have some pretty unrealistic expectations at times (million miles per gallon kinda crap) but majority of customers have been satisfied.

what have you done for 68RFE's that would improve the power/longevity of them? i will have a brand new AC version of 68 shortly and tow a good bit and curious as to what you have seen improvement wise.

Myself I do full lock upshifts from 3rd gear up, reduce timers, reduce slip values, reduce clutch slip time, increase pressure(how much you go here depends on if you have a stock valve body or not), tweak around the alpha and torque phase duty cycles, tweak around pressure gains and adjust the shift and lockup points. Personally I run the Revmax Zero Flex Heavy Duty/Tow valve body in my 68RFE with lockup pressure, max shift pressures and max in gear pressures set at 225psi. Probably, at least in my mind, best money I've ever spent. Too much pressure increase on a stock valve body will lead to cracking and thus the inability to reach commanded max pressures or worse. With a valve body built to handle higher pressure they can be increased reliably to provide more clamping power on the clutches as the torque demand goes up.

With any tuning, especially transmission tuning, it's so subjective to personal preferences and likes, a person can't really say do this and do that as the end result just may not suit your taste. From a personal perspective I would recommend the Revmax Zero Flex valve body if you have a stock one in the transmission.

Welcome! Gotta read the rules, brother lol (there's a time and post restriction to avoid people joining just to sell stuff): https://www.ramforum.com/threads/ramforum-com-site-rules.179830/#post-2536920

the 8 speed swap its no longer the 65rfe lol. that can be a cost not all would be wanting to spend funds on either with how **** the economy is and the ever growing cost of things right now, especially in Canada, that Trudeau is absolutely screwing everyone with the rising costs of living in this country.
