68rfe trouble

Hey hope all is well joe , a friend of mine told me you could probably help me with a 68 rfe tranny on a ram 2500 2011
First it was not changing from 5th to 6 th gear I would step off gas and it would engage then we switched out the selenoid pack and nothing changed switched out the valve body and now it goes straight to manual mode and stays on 4 th gear

Your in limp mode most likely, does a cel come with it, if so check codes. Might just need a flash to fix and "possibly" (if the valve body change worked) fix the truck. After the solenoid you still had 5th gear, as in same as before you changed solenoid? So you used a grey one or a white updated one? If you had 5th after the new solonoid, then the issue with with valve body, could be check ball issue or just need to reflash it.
