6cyl enough power for lift or 35" tires? Or go Leveled with 33" tires?

Went with the Fox 2.0 Coilovers level from Nicksgotexhaust here on the forums, great prices and shipped out same day
Running Nitto Recon Grapplers 295-60R20

Love the ride, the Fox coil overs are excellent

Not sure if i like the Look just leveled. The fenders sit at 39-1/2" leveled front to back, now I'm thinking I should have done something
like a 3-1/2" lift or Maxtrac 4" spindle lift

I'm also not really happy with the tires, love the height, not crazy about the 11.6" width. Tires look tall and skinny

Now I'm debating on keeping it leveled, or do a 4" lift and wider tires

I'm also thinking of going with a 20x12, or 22x12 wide rim with a -44 offset.

I put the tires up for sale 2 weeks later after being on the truck

Really should have went with a 33"x12.5" wide tire , that bad decision just cost me at least $500 as I'm asking $1,300 for the tires I
just paid $1,800 for

Yes I just spoke with Maxtrac

I can keep the coil over and install there 4" spindle lift but it would give it a 6- to 6-1/2" lift

I really want to keep it around 4" lift so they said just install the OEM struts back in to obtain the 4" lift
Or i could stack the struts with the spindle lift to make it a 6" lift

I want to keep the tires at 33" to avoid rolling 35's with a 6cyl and more loss of gas mileage

So I'll be ordering the 4" lift kit today. I have the boxs the struts came in also,I just installed them a few weeks ago

Could look into a re gear instead of wasting money on short lived experiments and limiting the tire size

Thank you I'll definitely consider it
I'll talk to the shop that's installing the lift when it comes in end of the week
Appreciate it

Your doing something wrong. I have a Power wagon with a 6.4 on a factory lift with 4x4 and mud tires and I get 16mpg. This is on rural back roads, 18mpg on the interstate.

Have to re gear

I removed the Fox 2.0 Coilovers and installed the
Maxtrac 4" Spindle lift
I just installed Nitto AT3's 35x12.50R20 on TIS544BM
Rims with a -25 offset

In city lifted I get into 8th gear when I stay under 60mph

On the highway it stays in 7th gear and RPMs are at 2100 at 70 vs I was at 1500 in 8th gear

Here's a pic of the new ride

I just istalled 34s to replace the 31s on my 3.0 ecodiesel and went from 24 in the city to 17mpg and 34mpg on the highway to 23... I'm waiting on delivery of new lighter 4ply nitto tires which even though they are still 34x11 they are 20 lbs lighter per tire which makes a huge difference in mileage and power.

Years ago I had a lifted wrangler with the 2.5 4cyl. I had the 5 speed stick and 31.5 4 ply kelly safari tires... I decided to put 32" bfg mud tires on it.... well that change alone made it such a dog I couldnt use 5th gear on the highway anymore and hold highway speeds and my mileage went down the toliet since I was always over gassing it and it was always struggling. Then I had the 4.10 gears swapped with 4.56 gears. It was like a new jeep all over again. My gas mileage improved dramatically in all types of driving. And I was able to use 5th gear again. And this was with a tire diameter increase of 1/2" but a large weight difference.

Thanks for the update , here's my last thread here with 35's :
Thread '4" Maxtrac Spindle Lift pictures' https://www.ramforum.com/threads/4-maxtrac-spindle-lift-pictures.182890/

I have to re gear as with the 35's I don't get into 8th Gear on the highway
I used to run at 1600 ram at 75mph on stocks
But with the 35's I'm running 2200 ram now in 7th gear at same speed
When I tow I can't get out of 6th gear and drop down to 12mpg
I had 34"x11.5 leveled
Didn't like the look, it looked stocks still
Removed the fox 2.0 struts and put a 4" lift in myself
Love the look with the 35's now
Half of me wished I went with 22's instead on 20" rims
But I'm done tinkering for now
I'm averaging 17 between city /highway over all
Highway I dropped from 23mpg to 18-20mpg
City I dropped from 20 to 16
But I love the look now

I'm really disappointed with Rams stance out of the factory
A Chevy Tahoe pulls up next to me on a 4" level and ourhoods are level next to each other at. A light
A GMC truck pulls up next to me stock and is same height
I don't get why they made these trucks sit so low to the ground
