I am thinking of replacing the door speakers in my Ram with either a set of 6x9 speakers and keeping the dash speakers or getting a 6 3/4 set of component speakers and putting the tweeters in the dash speaker locations. I would amp either one with a 75 watt RMS amp. I was just wanting to get opinions on what people thought which would be the better option. I will have 1 10" sub in the back, so bass is not really my goal with these front door speakers. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Your front speakers are 6x9 and there are no dash speakers, unless you have the infinity system then you have an snows 6x9 and a tweeter in each door but still no dadi speakers. Hope this helps and welcome.

Convert, for now.

componets are best if mid and tweeter are within 12" of each other...so in this case, 6x9 in door.
