At this point if everything still works correctly with the originally 5.0 radio/HVAC controls & resistor... Then it's the harness or possibly the 8.4 HVAC control bezel.

What's the date code sticker on the back, b right of the bezel?

The only indication I'm seeing on the back of the bezel is this one below..

Time to drop back and punt.... Go ahead and reinstall the RA2 and your original hardware to make sure it all works.

Negative, nothing else on the bezel besides that. Yeah, I guess that will be the next thing to do! On shift tomorrow so will have to wait until Thursday, I'll let you guys know how it goes. Thanks again!

Well, I hooked up the original system, still with no luck on the blower motor turning on.. I did have a quick question before I jumped to conclusions, as my brain is fried, I don't remember this being connected to anything originally but I could be wrong.

This should be a warning to others, don't buy from 4th Gen Electronics. I have seen issues with them on other forums. Basically they just stop answering. Friggin' ridiculous. Might be best to start over with a kit from MPgrimm. His stuff is top notch and just works. If you have any problems, he will help you. Heck he even helps folks who are not his customer. ;-)

Then something else is wrong if you put it all back to stock.

PS: that connector is for the footwell light (if installed)

There's something in common between the 2 that's not right. There's got to be something we've overlooked or perhaps a connector/pin that's not seated correctly that you've worked on previously. Hopefully your rigged up fan switch jumper didn't damage anything ... I'm assuming it's removed when your testing/going back to stock. It's anyone else has any thoughts about this feel free to jump in... Just hate seeing someone with this much invested not having a working setup.

Well have to see about setting a time to talk again, this weekend maybe.

I'll add the OEM fan resistor values here as a reference...

Not sure if you got this figured out, but Mpgrimm2 pointed me to this to see if I had any thoughts. The only thing I can think of is- there’s only two things in common between the two systems:
The blower motor supply and blower motor control. First thing I would check is the blower motor relay in the PDC, if you already haven’t done that. Sounds like it may have first started chattering, then finally gave up.

That bad relay makes sense, it would prevent motor from operating. I didn't think of that before, good catch.

Downside with using a light based voltage tester/probe ... It's hard to tell what you've got exactly...

Got a text back ...
we found the problem, and I feel stupid because I checked it with a test light! There was an issue with the blower motor fuse, as the fuse wasn't getting any power.. but my mechanic was able to fix it I think he just reseated the wire underneath, I'm not too sure what he did.. and the AC works now! Everything makes sense now because everything else was working. Man my brain is fried ...

Thanks @Jimmy07 for the redirect. Sounds like a bad/loose terminal under the PDC for the fan circuit at the connector.
(I was thrown off by the 'apparent' power at the resistor/fan motor)

I believe he's a first responder/firefighter in Florida and really needed that AC. Glad we could get him squared away!

Sorry for the late reply my friends,
But I am very thankful for everyone that had inputs on the issue that I had, very fortunate that it was sorted out, big thanks to everyone. Definitely was pretty desperate for AC down here in Florida in a black truck.. you guys are the best!
