I have a 2020 1500 Bighorn with the 8.4 non nav. The volume stops going up after 24. Ive read that others have the same problem on a few FB pages. My question is, is there anyway to get past this? The knob shows going upto 38 but no sound increase after 24...
Can my dealer correct this?

When Autograph comes on with "Turn Up The Radio" I turn up the radio however, even with my hearing loss, anything above 15 is a bit loud for me.

I figure for what the truck costed me... I want full tilt boogie on everything I paid for. If 38 is max then I want to hear more than 24 if 24 is max then why did they put a 38 volume scale on it?

Mine keeps on going. I wonder if it’s a software issue that’s possible to reset at the dealer. Let us know what you find out.

I'd say to call your local dealership and talk to the service manager. I'll bet this has come across his/her desk more than once.

I have the same exact issue on my 2020 Ram, Did you ever get this resolved?
I called 3 dealerships all of them said i was the first time they've heard about it.
I just think thats the way the system is, its shame if so, 49k on a truck with trash sound system.

I had the same issue on my 2017 ram, never looked into cause i just thought it was a **** radio.

So, they were claiming the Uconnects on the lot would keep building on the sound decibels until the volume maxxed out? I can't believe that. Mine does the same thing. After volume level 21/22, it doesn't get any louder.

It has to be a monitoring microphone that's affecting the sound level.
