8.4 uconnect swap

so I’m unsure where to buy one from
But the connection on my original stereo compared to the 8.4 is flipped and I was wondering if anyone else stereo was just like mine and if there any adapter because when I tried to flip my connection it would just blow my stereo fuse I have a 2013 ram if that matters to bring up

I think if it keeps blowing fuses, then there is a problem with the wirng shorting out someplace. Try pulling/pushing wires before hooking up radio and if it still blows fuses, then you know wire problem. If it blows only when plugged in, may not be same wire config. Check online for wiring configs.

On the stereo the 8.4 to connect the main box wire is reversed compared to my male connector and in my text when I tried to flip my male connector it wouldn’t connect right since it was a bad connection they weren’t in the right place but I’m unsure where to buy the adapter to go over it so it’ll connect right but unsure why my truck was like that compared to other people who had it plug and play
