That's a good deal...I'd be really interested to know if the unlock code is vehicle specific vs. radio specific. Does it change based on installed vehicle or does it stay the same no matter what vehicle it goes in?

The unlock code is radio specific only, the only thing you need to get the code is the serial number off the radio. There are several online sources for like 10.00, or the dealer can get it for you as well. I paid the 10.00 and got the code instantly online and it worked perfect.
