I've inquired about this in the past and never got a real answer. Why does it pause? If I use the SD or the USB slots for music it pauses a few times when first starting the truck. Today it did it using Bluetooth for the first time, and it was bad. Real bad. It paused about every 10 seconds all the way to work this morning. Why does it do this? I've rebooted it in the past, makes no difference. It's annoying as can be. Short of spending money I don't have on a new head unit, what can I do to resolve this super annoying issue?

OK, since no one seems to know, how about a different angle? Does anyone know where I can go ask about this issue?

iPhone, by chance? My USB works fine with a thumb drive, but Bluetooth via my iPhone has ridiculous lag. Switching songs takes about 30 seconds using the steering wheel controls. Sometimes the song name displayed takes a bit to update as well. I can change songs on my phone without the lag, but the 8.4 screen still has lag in updating the track info. From what I've read online, it looks like more of an Apple iOS issue.

@RamCares, Are you familiar with this issue? Any idea if its Uconnect or iOS?

No, Samsung phone. It's never done it with Bluetooth before. It's always been with the SD or USB slot

I've never heard of this but that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't a fix. If you send me a private message with your VIN, I'd be glad to escalate your inquiry to the Uconnect Team for further handling.
