first off, i've had leveled and 6 inch lifts on my 2500's in the past, but i bought this truck with a 8 inch Mcgauphys long arm kit and Fox 2.0s with the resevoirs already installed. Man this thing rides rough! the front springs dont seem to be linear, but stiffer to keep the lift height! doesnt help that it came with 24x14 wheels either! anyone else running this lift that might have the same impressions?

I’m betting those 24’s are a bigger problem than the springs........

What size tires you running?

EDIT: never mind , flipped my phone to landscape and saw your sig

6.5” of sidewall ain’t doing you any favors. The stiff sidewall required to maintain weight carrying has got to be like riding on concrete. I hate to ask what psi you’re running?!

Man. Them wheels and tires are prolly doing it! Get some tires on there and adjust pressures and i’d bet she would smooth right out. 20’s are rough enough I could only imagine 24’s lol

I believe it’s definitely the rims.

I'm on 22s and that's rough with 35s so you are probably about the same boat as me. Going even bigger onnthe tires will help some air down some also or drop down to a 20 to 22. Sick truck though

i figured it was the wheels. i bought the truck with the 24s and i hate them, the tires wont balance for crap. i ordered a new set of forged 22x12 cause im sick of rocks chipping my paint haha! also ordered the 37x12.5 country hunter RT as i dont need a mud tire plus i want some traction in the rain. should have the new set up on soon and will post pics!

lowered it down to 58 PSI for a long road trip that required me to take the truck, what a difference! new wheels and tires are on and man its night and day ride quality, noise level and looks!

40" tire and 17 or 18" wheel will look proportionate with that much lift and ride way better too.

I have the same lift in 35” with 20s. Ride is for nice, only thing I notice is alittle wheel hop over bumps, assuming it’s coils spring related

I added Core 4x4 lower control arms on my truck and the wheel hop over bumps and uneven roads is gone ... I am going to add the upper control arms, panhard and end links as well to make it even better ...
