87 or 89 octane

After running 87 with NO eth for a month my average mileage was 15mpgs.
Switched over to 87 10% eth 2 weeks ago and so far I'm averaging 14.8 mpgs.
If it don't get any worse than that I'll keep burning the canola because the no eth 87 is $.45/gal more.

My RAM shut off twice in one day as I was driving - mechanic said to use 91 octane and seafoam to correct. I never heard of that and by reviewing this board I see mostly everyone id running with 89 which is what I have been doing.
