Hello All , I’m looking to swap my auto trans to a manual into my 89’ D150 , I have a 97’ dodge NV3500 with all the parts , I think . I have questions about the neutral safety switch/ reverse light connections , mechanical speedo connections/adapter to electronic and finally the clutch master and ***** cylinder kit ( will a 88’-93’ work in a 97 NV3500 or visa versa ) . At this point any info or links would be a appreciated

Maybe you've figured all this out already. I know they make an electronic to mechanical adapter that you plug your speedometer cable into, it's north of $300. Is the 88-93 a hydraulic clutch setup? Are you able to fabricate at all? Neutral safety switch will just be wiring the two pins together and bypassing it. for the reverse lights, there is most likely a switch on the trans (2 pin?) just like there would be also for the Auto (which I assume is the A518?)

Interested to hear how you get the wiring hooked up on your rig. Didn't want to fool around with a JY nv3500 so I just ordered a remanufactured nv3500 for a 98 ram 1500 from these guys, https://reman-transmission.com/transmission-codes/?code=NV3500. It'll eventually be going into a 92' D150. Send pictures of everything too I'm interested to see your setup

SO I see you live in Kansas .. Long way from myself .But what are you going to go with your Auto your pulling out .
....
..... UNLESS your a heck of a mechanic this sounds like more of a project that I think you'll want to get into. I'd say find another truck with the trans like you feel you need.
.......... & I've done a couple of swaps like this in my past. But i'm now 72+ & I'll not do another one.
...Good luck & Welcome aboard.
