3 quarts guys. Took 3 quarts… new transmission lines with -8 a male ends and an in line 145° thermostat and I’m all back together. Well just shy of 3 quarts but non the less. Will report back after a couple drives but idling in my driveway it definitely warms up faster. during my fluid check went from 76° to 86° for my check then after checking made it to 92° and sitting am now at 100°. This is all in under 10 minutes.

My 8 speed is totally deleted, and honestly i've never noticed much differance in it's shifting patterns between 100F and 185F (where it used to run at before deleting),but the transmission is also tuned,so i don't know if that is why i've never noticed any differance. My wifes 1320 with no heater will take upwards of 60 miles on a 30F day before it gets above 150F,and it doesn't really exhibit any shift differances between 100F and 180F.I usually try to keep things reasonable until both transmissions get to around 100F,but after that it's game on,lol
I hair over 100⁰ Is perfect in my head with but some of these guys say 190-200+ on a normal day. That seems like meltdown to me. I know the engineers aren't stupid but they've also got the **** epa that doesn't care about longevity breathing down their backs.

Damn it looks good Khris. What's your outdoor temp this morning,as it warmed up pretty quick.I'm looking forward to your thoughts after you get a few miles on it.Where did you get the clamps holding the hoses together?

Improved racing sells them. I like them. Kept it very neat looking. This was after a 10 minute drive to the local grocery store. It seems to creep up slightly to 160° when I’m in stop and go. I need to flip my lines at the thermostat as I have the radiator flowing backwards. Oops. No biggie. Currently flowing top to bottom. I think stock was bottom to top.

Those temps look good. Time to beat on it a bit to see if it'll maintain temp. Damn you must be running around with a winter jacket on,lol
That’s coming next time I make it to my in-laws or down the interstate to see what the true sustained temp will be. It still takes a bit to get up to the 154° that it seems to like but I’m ok with this over the 186° it was before.

So I have one of Caulk’s bypasses in my possession now…what temps can I expect?
To many variables to really pin that one down Craig, but if i was to take a guess probably somewhere between 130 and 150 after it's up to temps. That depends alot on conditions like how hard you like to drive it,if you drive it more along the lines of you stole it,probably in the 140/150 range, but if you drive it like Grandma probably in the 130/140 range
