I did a search and did not find any results, so which transmission and why? I am looking at getting a new 2019 Ram sometime this year. I will be getting a 5.7 Hemi but I'd like to know the differences between the transmissions. Durability and longevity are priorities for me.

I think if you're getting the hemi you'll get the 8hp75, I don't think the other is an option at all with the hemi (only for the v6).

As mentioned this is due to having the handle the additional power from the Hemi and it has a very good reputation overall.

Ok, sounds excellent. I mistakenly thought that there are 2 transmission options with the hemi.

Always better to ask and make sure what you're getting, glad we could help!
