8peed swap what shifter?

Im about to 8 speed swap my 2011 2500 5.7 4x4. Transmission is on it's way and the SGA harness/computer is on it's way. I already have the flywheel and various bolts in a Mopar cart. But the only thing I can't figure out is which shifter do I want? I would like to control the gears from the shifter. Im thinking about the 2016+ Grand Cherokee shifter as you can push it over to manual mode and then go up or down to change gears. I don't have to have this feature working immediately, but eventually.

All 8 speed console shifters work the same,whether they're car or jeep,push them sideways for manual mode.
You might have to join this page,and see if anybody has got the manual mode to work using the dodge system,i know you can do it with the aftermarket controllers,but not sure about getting it to work with the ram electronics.
It's probably easier to tune the transmission to shift where you want it to shift,then enable manual mode on the shifter.

Factory Challenger shifter,push it sideways,for manual mode,then pull back to upshift / push forward to downshift.

With a good trans tune from FRP , you'll never fell the need to use the manual shift. Ive had cars in the past with it, the novelty wears off quickly ! at least it did for me. YMMV. And dont forget to add the zip kit thats the most overlooked mod on these trans.
