I'm going to replace the gears and LSD in my 1994 1500 4wd, 9.25. I found a complete set up, gears, LSD, carrier, everything, including the rear end housing, here's my question...The new set up is from a 2002 1500 with rear disc brakes, during researching this project I came across a few head scratchers. First one is some sources list 1994-2001 as 2nd gen and starting with the year 2002 as a 3rd gen, which gen is a 2002? also I'm finding the '94 9.25 axle shaft length as 34.0 and the 2002 as 34.13, is the extra .13 inconsequential? if the 2002 is indeed 2nd gen are the spring perches and shock locations the same as the '94? a no mod swap would be a nice surprise.
Thanks
