9005 LED High Beam Bulbs

My 2017 Laramie CTD came with projector headlights, which I immediately upgraded with an HID kit from RetroShop.

I don't use 'em much but the high beams could be better. What LED bulbs would you recommend for the high beams? Any issues with LEDs not working well in this application?

Used them on my old truck. Current truck were in my low and highs before I switch to projectors. They work awesome and a little cheaper. Led lights work great in a reflector system.

No fit meant issues at all, the low profile made them have plenty of room. I actually had them in the liw beam for quite a while before I put in the hid. Honestly the hid kit from Morimoto is not all that much brighter than these led were. I’ll take a pic tonight and post.

It’s still pretty light outside, the pictures don’t really show how bright the hi’s are.
Also I have the lights adjusted pretty low, haven’t realigned since I put the HID in the lows.

What color bulb did you use?

Not sure why your pics look like halogen still.

I'm using their 4500k bulbs and LED fogs with yellow Lamin-X

I took the pic when it was still light outside, HID are 5500 LED hi beams are 6,000. Fogs are 6,000 but not on in the pic.
Also the pic is against a red brick wall. Look at the difference in color in your pic from the garage door to the tan stucco.

Morimoto 2 stroke bulbs are the way to go! feedback has been great on them.

After 2 years 4 months I finally decided to utilize my auto high beams LOL. So, I decided to upgrade my Philips 9011 highs with these. They'll be in tomorrow. They are advertised as error free. Have you had any issues with yours?
