My dad's 94 was rolling down the road a few days ago and then just no movement. I'm my experience these die a slow slipping death not a sudden death. Now when cold it will shift normally for a couple of blocks and then just stop. Reverse can be feathered into after forward dies. Fluid level is good and doesn't smell bad. Which component would you look at first?
