2008 Ram 1500 6.4L
1. swapped the trans (545rfe to a 2015 ram 1500 8hp70 trans using pcs 2800 module) ran for about 1400 miles flawlessly.
2. I'm running with the HP tune system
3. on trip to beach and plenty of rain engine fluttered ( slight missing ) for about 5 seconds then cleared up.
4. just a few miles downs the road ABS and Brake lights come on and engine cuts of immediately.
5. cost to side of road put in park cut off switch and it restarts fine I put in drive and idles fine.
6. press gas ABS and Brake lights come and engine cuts off immediately.
7. put back in park restarted fine put in drive and same thing again.
8. started engine put in reverse and drove with no ABS or brake and did not cut off.
9. there has been a few times I tried to start and it would be dead gauges come on but not start (no starter no click just dead)
10. towed to shop they said it was full of codes from the old 545rfe. they cleared codes and they told me it was good to go.
11. been at shop 4 days now. they have no idea
12. codes are back
13. could it be the codes for the old trans that they have not been locked out so they will keep coming back?
when I read with my scanner I got this code only P0882
