ok guys this has been thrown around for sometime now and i have something to ask and add.. my 00 1500 4x4 with only rear abs has the brake light and abs light on.. I've replaced both the sensor on trans and rear end and no avail.. I really can't afford the dealer ship cost of seeing what is wrong i just want to know if anyone else has had same issue after replacing sensors and how to test the module.. also if the module is the same from a 2000 rango with only rear abs as well.. also is there a write up on replacing this module? Merc and DD I expect yall to see this and comment SOMETHING lol thanks in advance

Usually having a red brake light too indicates a hydraulic failure. Does the pedal feel normal? Fluid level?

Have the abs codes pulled. Without knowing the codes, people will just be guessing.

As posted pull the codes. Me I would start by bleeding the brake system.

I could be as simple as just doing that. Have a look at the combo valve and the proportioning valve and see if any of the tell tails are popped out. Check the elec plugs that go on these parts. Check the parking brake light switch make sure its working right.
