ABS Problem!!!!

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 2wd with the 5.7 hemi and only 85,000 miles. I have owned the truck for about 5 months.

The problem is I hear a grinding noise coming from the front end of the truck. Then the truck feels like it doesn't want to accelerate. Then the abs light comes on and it quits. If you pull over kill the truck then drive it a little ways the engine or transmission jerks and then the abs light goes off. It does this a lot.

I had the truck scanned with the abs light on. The following codes were found c121d (brake pressure sensor circuit) and abs control module.

I jacked the truck up and took both front tires off to see if I could see any evidence of anything that could explain the grinding noise I checked the brakes, rack and pinion, ond all other front end parts and everything looked brand new.

I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of a problem like this before. I hate to take it to a shop if there was a way to fix it myself. I just don't want to let it go and cause even more problems . Any comments, ideas, or information would greatly appreciated.

With the wheel off, When you spin the hub/rotor does it feel like it's dragging? If it does, either caliper/brakes or wheel bearings could be the cuplrit.

I thought the same thing. But rotors and brakes spin freely. The grinding noise does sound like the brakes are dragging. But I don't know what is causing the sound. Unless. the brake sensor, abs module, or something else bad. Thanks for the reply.

If brake caliper stuck, it's some type noise; also the wheel bearing, CV-axle, intermediate shaft, special the bad tire can make type noise, it's better you recording the noise, someone can know that source.
The ABS problem is maybe the second issue, caused by the noise, if the speed ring(in the wheel bearing) damaged and touched the ABS sensor, they can make noise and lead your ABS warning come...

I have the same EXACT problem on my 2011 Ram 1500 2WD 5.7 and am ready to replace the ABS wheel speed sensors, but I'm curious if you ever were able to fix this problem and what caused it. How did you make out? Thank you very much!

What leads you to believe the ABS wheel speed sensors need replaced? Don't take this the wrong way, but did you actually diagnose them as bad or just randomly replacing parts?
What are the details of the grinding? When does it occur?

I have the same truck and was getting odd noises, jerking, and the ABS light. Mine would do it mostly when warm after sitting for 20-30 minutes.
Autozone scanner said "erratic readings left rear speed sensor". Swapped that out (thanks rockauto) and so far the problem hasn't returned.
NTK is the brand that makes Mopar sensors, get that brand, it was around $15 IIRC.
I had already replaced all 4 wheel bearings, calipers and brake pads, even removed sway bars, without success.
I believe the ABS is causing the issues BUT you need to repair the cause of the ABS light, in your case try replacing the brake pressure sensor.
