AC Button and Defrost Button quit working

I replaced the original illumination lights for the HVAC controls with an aftermarket LED light kit. Since I replaced the blown lights with the LED kit my AC and Defrost control buttons do not work. I've checked the power supply to the circuit card and all seems fine. Any Ideas?
