Just an FYI: Seen a lot of discussions about actual loads on 1500's and now I know what mine is good for. I went to the recycle yard today with a load of scrap steel. Weighed in and out, no driver, 3/4 tank of fuel (26 gal tank), and small tool bag plus tire chains onboard. My truck weighed out at 5360#---their scales are supposedly calibrated. My door sticker label says GVW is 6800#. So with just my 210# plus maybe a full tank of gas, my legal added payload would be right at 1200#.
My truck is the 2019 1500 Classic Warlock, Quad cab, V6 gas engine, 4X4, bone stock. It has the 3.55 gears with LSD so is rated for 7,400# towing in some lists, 7,240# in others. Those same lists show the payload capacity for my truck at 1800#. I imagine there are other lists with other numbers. :driver:

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that a driver weight of 150lbs is already included so you would only have to add 60lbs for yourself.

Does the 2019 still list your payload on the door or door jamb sticker like the other models did just a year or so ago?

I have read about that in some of these posts and looked for it, but nothing about payload on mine, just GVW (and weight allowed per axle). Note that there also 2 different types of 2019 1500's, so maybe some do, some don't?

All I see is Gross Weight for Vehicle....? Maybe I'm missing something here.

For the actual weight carrying capacity, run the truck over a CAT scale and subtract that from the GVWR.

weighed mine at a cat scale..5960# with me and 1/2 tank gas..7100-5960= 1140# capacity left for my '19 laramie. with full tank, the wife on board and the travel trailer hooked on, I have around 260# left for gear...not what I was hoping for, but it is what it is.

Only 1 sticker or are they basically the same thing on the jamb and door itself?

Si Paco, there is a second sticker on the door itself, but it's all about the tires:

1588 is your payload.

It is on this sticker.

Now take the info from the other one...the GVWR.

6800-1588

Your truck weighs 5212.

Note. Payload is figured with your truck empty (no driver/passenger/cargo) but full fluids(gas/oil)

Max towing is figured from GCWR and includes 300 pounds for driver/passenger and 90lbs for hitch and a 10% TW.

I weighed mine at a cat scale. 5960# with me in it and 1/2 tank of gas. 5960-220 for me-120 for gas=5620#. I also weighed my travel trailer so I could get a handle on how much I could load when towing. my door sticker shows 1324# max payload.
