Has anyone attempted to add factory fog lights to a 2016 Tradesman 2500? I have changed the front bumper, added the new lights, headlamp switch and harness, but my truck does not have the connector for the fog light harness to plug into. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or recommendation besides hardwiring the lights to rocker switch? I would like this addition to be as factory as possible and I understand the dealer will have to add a sales code to make the switch work once I have the wiring completed.

Here's the thread I did installing factory fogs to my 15. As far as I know the wiring should be the same. You have 2 choices for getting close or a factory install. Either find the male end that connects to the jumper and the correct size pins and build the remaining section or buy the complete headlight w/fogs harness and replace your existing harness.

Thank you for the information 1500Ram12. I will compare the diagrams to my truck's wiring and see if I can get the lights going.

You have the Aux Upfitter Switch option? Would make this quite a bit easier on the wiring side.

I got all of my parts installed this weekend for my fog lamp mod. I went by the dealer and they added the sales code for me and now I have fog lights. My only conplaint is I wasnt able to by the OEM connector for the harness I built to tie into the truck harness. So I had to cut the connector off of the fog lamp harness and add a generic connector. I appreciate all of yhe help and the link to the tread with the wiring schematic and illustrations. I made my work much easier.

I'd like to do the same mod to my 2013 2500 ST. So far I've added the Laramie bumper with fog lights and a 2016 Laramie grille. :favorites13: Also had the rear camera option turned on at the dealer but still have to add the camera.

Just a heads up, we have had the missing extension/"intermediate" harness for awhile now ... see here.

M² Mods.

But if someone wants to build their own harness wouldn’t the part numbers be helpful? No offense but it’s $30 worth of parts to build the harness on your own.

You'll find that when ordering connector pins, they are usually in a minimum package size of at least 100.
Unless you plan on build multiple harnesses, just buy a premade harness from
M² Mods which are very well made harnesses that look and work like OEM
or you can see if the OEM one is available: AllMoparParts.com
