I want to add some lighted sun visors, my driver side has no mirror and my pass side has just a mirror.

How to the lighted mirrors wire up? As far as I can see without taking anything apart, I don't see any wiring harness for the new ones to plug into.

Has anybody done this?

Im thinking this too since all ram trucks are made from the same body i think. Because they come with the clutch reservior block off plate like if the trucks are stick. I hope someone chimes in with an answer. I got an express rcsb and when a chick asked me about a light in visor i was like sorry ram cheaped out lol.

I'm gonna be doing this same thing in the next week or 2. The wiring should be just a unplug and replug deal when you swap the visors

If you beat me to it, let me know how the install goes

No luck. Mirrors have a harness but I didn't see a plug to plug it into

Nope. Was thinking about it but didn't want to deal with the curtain airbags and then the overhead console. Plus I don't know how to put it back up

If I could get someone that has the illuminated visors from the factory to pull theirs down and take pics of where it plugs in then I might figure out a way

That sucks to hear garner, I was looking forward to adding these visors. Is there a way to wire these up ourselves via some sort of power wire from the battery? I'm not any good at wiring or I would have figured it out, done it, and wrote a DIY for everyone on here..

Anybody make any progress with this? I need to do exactly the same thing. I'm also having trouble finding the visors to purchase online.

Need to add them to a 2012 Ram that has only 1 mirror and it isn't lit.

Anyone?

Old thread I know....but I'll be pulling mine apart this weekend to have the headliner and visors recovered. I'll try to get some pics of where it plugs in. I dropped a visor out and the wiring goes somewhere up under the headliner....just not sure where yet.

Judging by the length of the wire on the mount. The connector should be close to where the mount screws in. Take a small piece of wire and bend it in a hook and slide it around through the mount hole and see what you get.

I already tried to poke around in there to unhook mine....there's a bracket that the visor screws in to blocking access. My guess is you gotta pop the a-pillars off to drop the headliner a hair but I'm not ready to dig in that deep.

I have done mine.. I added the upper map lights with homelike and the full harness that came with the console.
There is no harness there to tie into. Junk yards have the harness or you can make your own
