Any ideas why I would have lost that setting?

I don't have the 'Parksense' (Sound) or (Sound & Display) now. If you look at your Parksense CSM compared to mine you will see it is the first setting on yours. I had that setting before I enabled my front Parksense. I just thought that was an option if you only had rear PTS since it was removed when I added my front but then I seen you still have the setting/option. 485a859f2cc7e385adee44517321bb17.jpg9e28d2726400ebfe16f78f735f6820b5.jpg

So the can c connector is what ties the park assist Module to the vehicle can c network .
I got the plug and pins from Deere Guy/M2Mods .I think the connector changes depending on the series of truck ?
Here is the repair kit for a can c connector for my 2018 ram 1500

Where would the “Star Can-C IP connector be located.

My truck is a 2016 1500 Laramie 4x4 5.7. It has virtually every option available on a ram with the exception of a sunroof and the front and rear park sense. I’m very interested in getting the rear park since installed and working and I am in considering doing the front as well. I have the rear sensors and sub wiring and I am currently constructing the wiring harness that I will be using to connect the sub harness to the park sense module. I have the alpha OBD software and Bluetooth link so I will be able to make the software changes. The only issue I’m having so far is exactly where that connection would be made for the Can-C bus

I'm going to add rear to mine.. I have the rear jumper harness and sensors ordered. I found a used set on ebay. I have 18 2500 Big Horn. It appears I have the rear connector next to the spare tire on the left side. Pic below. Where would the wires be hidden in the cab? I know the module park assist module is supposed to be in the left kick panel. Would the wires be close to that? Would a connector for the can bus close also? Also what size it the holes in the rear bumper for the sensors?
Thanks for any advice in advance! e169d47d3ef63fd3c1b2648c72be9849.jpg

If you look at my pic of the park assist module location if the wiring is there would be two connectors in the drivers side kick panel Area .
My truck had the plug at the back of the truck like yours but it ended at the I 220 connector I believe .
That is why I made my own harness

Hey guys I'm new to this forum. I dont have park assist on my truck and I would like to add this to it.im sure i be able to figure out the pin and the harness for the sensor. The one think I can t figure out is the module. Does it need just power and then it connects wirelessly to the truck. Or do I need to hook up a wire to a harness so that it can communicate to the truck. Any help would help thanks I will post picture of the project if I manage to figure out this.

The module will need the run relay circuit that comes off the same circuit as the back up camera in the tail gate connector .
Atleast that is how my 2018 1500 is shown in the connector schematic .
That is a 12 volt source .
Ground you can add at the kick panel where the module will be installed .
Then you need to connect the can C network to it .
I showed a pic of my can c junction point in this thread .

In the original post's parts list, the "rear park assist module" part number is given as "68204477AF". It sounds like the part number for the module that controls both front and rear part assist is different.

What is the part number for the front and rear unit? Thanks!

I am looking at the connector you say that you connected to the jumper harness at the rear of the truck. I have purchased the sensors and the jumper harness from a dealer and the connector you have listed looks just like the connector that’s on my jumper harness could you double check the part number for that harness that you built.
The part number you have listed it is 68018957 AA. As I mentioned earlier the connector I have is a female connector and looks just like the connector you posted a picture of.
Thank you so much for the help you’ve already given me/us...
