Hey guys. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I i've posted a couple times before about the 7" CST and 35's and stuff, and sorry for bothering everyone but I just need some advice. I'm really torn between 35's and 37's. My wife isn't helping because she is really pushing for 37's because she doesn't want me to not be happy with them. I've already got the 7" plus a 3" BL and i've only got 1 shot at this.

So, 7" with 35's or 7"/3"BL and 37s? I know i'll have to regear most likely and that's another reason i'm thinking 35's cuz it's a little cheaper. If at all possible, I would love to see pictures of 2wd's with both setups if you guys have time.

I promise this will be the last post about this until I get my lift and everything put on once i'm done with this deployment! Thanks in advance!

If the wife is pushing you towards the 37"s and you want the 37"s....... Then go for it! The 7" CST and a 3" BL is gonna be massive.

You are definitely gonna have to change gears, no way around that. Running the 37"s on stock gears is not an option. It would take your truck a month to run out of sight with stock gears.

You guys are killin me lol. So you think the 3" on top of the CST will be too much with 37s? I don't want it to look stuffed but I also don't want too much room in there. I'm planning on 18x9 rims with 5" BS and no offset, would those work for either tire I choose? I'm looking at Trail grapplers for 35's or Toyo m/t for 37's.

Thanks!

Go with the body lift, that way you wont ever have to worry about the tires rubbing. I think you will be just fine with the 18x9 and 5 " BS. Both tire choices are great. Its really up to you on the 35" or the 37". Decisions. Decisions.

When trying to decide between sizes on lift height, tire size or wheel size always go with the larger option. If you don't, you'll regret it. Buy once, cry once.

The 7 inch kit with 35's looks real good. If you decide to go with the 3inch body lift then 37's will look better than 35's. Keep in mind that when you lift the body you will add complications when adding things to the motor such as a Air Grabber or things to the bumpers such as brush guards etc. Once thing I will say about the RAM's is that they hide a body lift well so it would look good.

I have the 7inch CST and 35's. I'm staying where I'm at because I like the look and the height and I don't want to sacrifice any more power or MPG. You will notice a difference in both.

It's also really cool that your wife is encouraging you. Good luck with your choice.

EDIT: Just noticed you have the 4.7 motor. I wouldn't go too big.

That's another reason I was leaning more toward 35s. I drive 18 miles each way to and from work and don't want to spend 400+ in gas every month. I keep showing my wife pictures of rams with 35s and she says yeah its nice but the 37s look better lol. She definitely isn't making it any easier. Your truck looks great by the way

Lol luckily there aren't too many of those in Panama City. If I get orders I may be in some trouble though :)
