Does it fit your truck well? Any issues hooking it up?

Yea it fits fine, just leave everything loose until you have everything in place and it'll go smoothly. The fun part is swapping the sensor over from the stock intake to the new. At least I believe it's fun, I really don't remember to well, lol.

**** THAT SENSOR lol

Besides that everything else was a breeze, and I agree with the previous statement of leaving everything loose until everything is in its place

Just ordered the AFE Stage 2 and should be receiving it in a couple of days, hopefully the 2012 are not too different from the '10-'11 and it will fit.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little put off when I got my kit out of the box today. First, I ordered a gray intake and mine came out polished. Second, some genius at aFe put the sticker on upside down. Third, it was a wrestling match to get it to fit. All in all its in and looks good, but that sensor was the easiest part if that gives you any indication..

Looks good, I thought you had mentioned you ordered the metal stage 2? I thought there was only the polished finish in the metal. Sucks about that sticker though. And yes, getting that sensor back in was a major PITA

After reading this I went back and looked. You're right. I was looking at the molded gray version, but thought I was looking at the metal. I can admit error there. Intake sounds and looks pretty good. Reset my pcm after installation and gained 1.4 mpg, so I'm pretty happy all in all.

I got the K&N and it was a wrestling match as well. Have to be oh so careful with that sensor. Sounds great though, almost no change if you drive it normal, but the roar at WOT puts a grin on my face everytime.

Couldn't tell you if it made more power or not, I think you would be hard pressed to feel it if it did.

Ya I would call BS if someone installed a CAI and tried to say it made a noticeable gain in WHP. Sounds good at WOT though! As soon as my magnaflow y gets in I'll have it installed. Exhaust will have to wait about 2 months though...

I'm sure there are, but to say how much without a dyno would be blasphemous...

Just got mine installed, was rather easy and went way better than i thought it would. As for gains, well i didnt notice much or any gain in power but i did get that added sound that i was looking for.

AFe + Corsa have always been a good combo for me :).

Hey guys, on the autoanything site, it says- Not CARB exempt, for offroad use only

Concerning the AFE. I am thinking about getting this, but should I be concerned at all?
