Truck rides pretty beautifully now

I felt MORE of a difference getting new tires with the road force balance than I did replacing the control arms, but I'm glad I did both...

shouldn't have to mess with any suspension components for the rest of the year, or probably into next year...

next up, peeling the wrap off

Wait till you start driving over speed bumps or off road. It's a night and day difference once you learn to push the suspension harder.

Here is my 2010 2wd (yes, a pavement princess) with the maxtrac 7in. 4.5in spindle and 2.5in springs installed. I’m still on stock control arms and I have had the lift for 40k and have had no issues. I get the alignment checked approximately every 6 months or when I feel it might be off. Take it to a shop that deals with lifted trucks. Firestone is who I had doing mine and they only adjust to factory specs. You need a shop who deals with lifted trucks.

PS. Those upper control are are sexy.

So you have the spindles, spacer and level on the front, along with the new Maxtrac UCAs? ... So what is the total lift you have now ? I am thinking of adding the level spacer in the front to go along with the 7" Maxtrac lift I have now ....

I have the 4.5" spindle and the 2" level spacer stacked on it...

in the rear, I have a 5" coil...

...and to tie it all in, the 3" body lift

so, about 9.5" up front and 8" out back...

Front fender is 45.75" and the rear fender is 46.75" off of the ground...

That dude ... my front fender is at 44" and the rear fender is at 45.5" not much different than yours and I don't have the 3" body lift ... I do have the 37 inch tires though ... so with a 3" body lift I would be around 48"s front and rear if I add the 1" spacer up front ! .... nice !

Bigger meats and regear. You'll be grinning from ear to ear.

Just put a winch on the front. If you get stuck in RWD just winch out :D:D

Yes, I did it with AlfaOBD when I regeared ... speedometer is dead on ... I used 3 different apps to look at the speed compared to my truck's speedometer and it was off by 1 mpg or dead on all the time ...
Do shops typically recalibrate for you, or do you need to be prepared to do it yourself ??

I have the 4.5 maxtrac Fox lift and I run 285/65/r20's or 34.6 tires just fine. There is one thing i have noticed coming from Ford and GM trucks. These Rams don't tolerate a lot of lift. Especially in 2wd. Also going to a hellwig rear sway bar helped the road manners tremendously.
