After market sunroof

Im planning on putting an after market sunroof on my truck but im kinda iffy about it because everyone is tell me im going to have problems with it leaking but the place is giving me 3 year warranty so if anything does go wrong i can just take it back and they fix it they do a great job they've been in business since the early 80's so i think they're doing something right... what do you guys think is it a good idea or leave as is...

how big is your sunroof?? cause the one they sell over here is around 32 by 56

theres a local guy that does all the sunroofs for the houston people he does real good work.

I think the leaking was an issue back in the day, my understanding is the current aftermarket ones don't leak. And You can get a factory sunroof installed at the dealer, so why can't you get an aftermarket one done just as good if not better? as long as they use good sealants, and its made well, it shouldn't leak. I think the ones that kinda ruined the aftermarket sun roof for everyone were the cheap pop up ones that you basically cut a hole in your roof and plop it in. Cheap stuff is jut that, cheap. get a quality sun roof done by a professional, and you shouldn't have any problems. I've been looking into sunroofs for the past year or so, and from what i've read and heard, the new ones don't leak.
