Looking for any options for a bumper that works with pocket flares? My pocket flares wrap around the headlight and most bumpers I've seen also wrap around the headlight and stick out an inch or two. Need one that would be flush with head light so that my flare will still work.

Any recommendations??

My truck as it sits today

Thanks for the input. Looks like it's pretty flush around the headlight. Wonder if it will work with mine. Mine wraps around a lil more than your flare or did you cut yours. Here is a close up pic.

I notice 2 things... 8732cuts has his flares cut at the body line mark on the factory flares. I also have a hammerhead bumper and thought about doing the same. But it sticks out where the little point where the pocket flares angle down around the headlight. So, pocket flares wont work with that bumper. 2. Witch's bumper is using the spacers under the headlights that come on the HD trucks. That is why his pocket flares work. Not sure if thats any help...

Thanks for your input, I was kinda wondering the same thing about the hammerhead. I did notice the spacer for the other bumper and I dont mind getting that, would just be a question to have it painted black or color matched to the truck

Pics for reference. The hammerhead, and I believe the Ironbull bumpers stick out about a half inch past the fender. Making the pocket flares unusable. Excuse the dirty truck, temps havent been above 20 for a while. Also, mine needs adjusted to fix the huge gap between my lights. Installed myself, and could have definetely used an extra hand or two. On my list... I don't think spacers would work with just any of the bumpers either. Notice there is no gap between Witch's grill and his bumper. If I tries using the spacers I would have a huge gap below the grill.

Ya that's why I knew it would be a challenge to find one but looks like witch found a solution, will just have to keep my eye out for a sale cause those body guard bumpers are pricey

He states in the threads that it only weighs about 40lbs more than stock IIRC so that's also a bonus.

Well decided to pull the trigger on a hammerhead one. It almost appears as the full size one sits more flush with the body line than the low profile one with just a light bar. I wanted the winch version as I already have a light bar in my grill. Fingers crossed it will work. They advertise it with flares... and a pic of my truck now

Next question, what lights to get?!?

Got any close up pics of how your bumper wraps around the headlight? How far does it stick out? Difference between radiance and the d series lights? What winch you go with?

Sorry for all the questions lol

So maybe I'm overthinking it lol but canceled my order. I really love how the hammerhead bumper looks but road armor says their bumper will absolutely work with my flares where as hammerhead wont make that statement. Plus found out that road armor is actually doin 15% off til tomorrow which actually brings it down to about same price as hammerhead. Thoughts!?!

Road armor one:
