Do these just plug? Or you have to remove the stock knob?

I haven't gotten one yet, but most of the ones I have seen, you just pop the cap off, and unscrew the old knob, and then screw the new one in and put the new cap on.

HAHA, $80 after a $60,000 truck..
It's probably not the $80 but what that $80 is buying..a shift knob. Some people might think it's worth that kinda cabbage but it doesn't add any performance value and the look is just ok in my opinion.

With the AJT it's about the feel to me, I like the look and especially the feel of it. I got the all silver one and it's always there in my peripheral vision now. The other black one was always sort of hidden, especially driving in the dark. It's going to be on my truck as long as I own it so when I amortize 80 bucks over say 10 years, it's down to maybe a 2 cents a day?

The shift knob was the first thing I replaced after buying my Ram. At first, I had the B&M knob:

It was OK. I didn't really care for the design but it was better than the stock plastic knob.

Then, I found the AJT Design knobs. These are made in house by a small company in Michigan. I went with the silver knob and black screws:

The quality is top notch and I like it much better than the B&M knob. Before I bought the AJT, I did some quick editing in Paint to see what the knobs would look like as two-toned:

I thought it would be cool the have the silver knob with the black center to match the HVAC knobs a little better.

You would have to ask Adam at AJT if he would be willing to sell it that way. Otherwise you could purchase the clear anodized knob and paint the center black or have it anodized black at a local shop in your area.

I just put the black JGR knob on as well. Man did you have to push hard to get the cap on. I had to use a plastic pry bar behind the main section, to avoid cracking my dash in half.

I initially ordered the No Eco Delete knob almost 2 months ago. I never heard a thing (other than them taking my money right away). I tried contacting them twice. I have now filed a Paypal claim.

Not gonna lie, I had trouble getting my old one off. Pretty much chiseled the center cap off because there was alot of glue. But extremely happy w the new one. Looks and feels awesome!
