So my 2011 Ram has gone thru the cam and lifter replacement .
I followed the advice given by many on the forum thank you all.
I spoke with Matt over at Moe's and got non MDS lifters and a Diablo
My mechanic did a great job on that swap I did get a cel for cylinder #6 and replaced the coil.
My issue is the rpm's drop and acts like it want's to stall I've cleaned the throttle body and
followed the other suggestions but the truck still does this but it doesn't stall but runs rough after
this happens and it also sets a cel multiple miss fires detected. All help will be greatly appreciated. By the way it was a stock cam from the dealer with a 100.00 dollar core charge

If you’re getting multiple misfires there is always the POSSIBILITY of improper cam installation.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe get lucky and check the timing or tensioner not holding slack off. I would just concentrate with the front of the engine and not the top, would be my guess. What does the guy who put the Cam in say? And did you get an invoice?

I would say 50/50 it is timing issue or cam installed wrong, but that is just a guess.

Run a compression test just for valve springs as a possible third option.

Are the rocker shafts installed correctly? They are different for intake & exhaust. I believe the pushrod are different too. Are the pushrod properly seated in the rockers? Compression test will tell a lot
