Hello All,

I had purchased a Gobege 12V Air Compressor Heavy Duty, 6.35CFM from amazon, pumps great but has an issue with air pressure building in the line causing piston to stall. Seems to lack a release valve. I had added a inline pressure gauge from harbor freight, so that seemed to make the issue worse. I am sending it back.

I was thinking of going for a better brand, but mostly planned to use it a home. There is a CRAFTSMAN 6-Gallon Portable Electric 150 PSI Pancake Air Compressor on sale for a little more. Does anyone know if the can fill up all four tires at once? It shows 2.35 cfm @ 100psi I believe. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-CFM-6-Gallon-Pancake-Air-Compressor/5015173689

The off road compressors I have seen go from about 6 CFM - 10 CFM but at 0 psi. I assume 2.35 cfm @ 100 psi is moving more air? Any real world testing? Can the craftsman fill up all 4 tires at once?

Thank you,

usually the smaller air compressors have a reed valve that prohibits back pressure. maybe that unit has a bad one? but, the reviews on amazon aren't that good

Yes this one seems to be a copy cat of many that are out there. Some of them have release valves. The one I got did not seem to have one.
