Riding home the other night the ac was on full blast as I turned into our driveway it lost some of its airflow. When i straitened up it went back to full blast. Anyone ever heard of this? Also it seems like when driving around 30-35mph the transmission seems to not want to shift or it kind of drags before shifting. Any ideas on this as well.

BigDawg--don't know about the blower issue. Haven't noticed it in mine. The transmission is adaptive and learns your driving habits. BUT, it's programmed for economy, so rapid upshifting. Some here use Tow/Haul mode as it holds gears longer. Differential ratio also plays a part.

Blower motors run off battery voltage, so speed is dependant on available voltage. It's normal for it sound different at times based on electric load. As for the transmission it's normal, the 8 speed has a very sophisticated learning process, so give it some time.

Mine does this too. I think it's the blend door (outside air/recirculate) moving. I'm almost positive in my case it is the issue. Not sure what or how it operates though.
I think some years had an issue with some kinda servo that affected this.

Depends on the year. In 2014 the trucks got a humidity sensor if you have the auto climate control. During periods of extended A/C operation with the recirc door closed, it will be commanded open for a period of time in order to bring in fresh outside air to help control humidity, also it helps stop bacteria growing on the evaporator.

The electric power steering rack's demands on the electrical system increase when you're turning, take it back to center and the rack doesn't need the extra power so the rest of the system gets the additional power back. That would account for the blower motor slowing down.

Thanks guys. I was worried. I had heard that the transmission had to learn. I have about 3900 miles on it so I will continue to monitor it. Love the truck so far. I guess I am extra sensitive about things being it is new and all.
