air suspension conversion

Has anybody replaced the optional 4-corner air suspension with a regular one? I live in a cold climate and think if i spend 4 grand to fix it i might have to do it again in 4 more years. strutmasters sell a kit.

I've seen kits that replace the OEM air suspension with springs if that interests you.I forget where I seen the kits ,or who makes them though,but they shouldn't be hard to track down.

Did you use the strutmasters finally? i am looking to do the same but can't find anyone that has used them
