Air suspension durability

Hey guys....I’m looking at a 2013 Laramie with 96k miles and the air suspension. Gotta be lots of highway miles. My concern is what is the life expectancy for the air suspension components. It rides like a dream, but has got to be crazy expensive to repair / replace.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I have heard of no wide-spread problems with the air suspension, but I recently purchased a 2013 Ram with 102k miles and avoided the air suspension only because it would have made me nervous each time I drove...maybe I'm a wimp!

I have a buddy that had a 14 with air. Just over 60k and no issues. He did quite a bit of towing (camper, landscape, dump and small enclosed trailers) and 0 problems.

I have air on my 16 and use it daily (exit/entry) and never an issue. But don't have that many miles on it so can't speak for longevity.
