Air suspension shocks?

I recently purchased a 2014 1500 with air suspension. Now that I have had it for a little while, I thought it would ride a bit better than it does. Do the shocks on these need replaces from time to time like regular shocks do? If so, how do I know when they need changed? Everything works good, it just the ride isn't as smooth as I thought. Thanks.

Weird cause i had air suspension in mine and it drove like a dream felt like you were riding on a cloud but i switch them out because every winter they would freeze up.

I wouldn't think you change them unless they dont hold air anymore.

The air bag suspension is different but their shocks still need replaced like any other. How many miles are on them?

I am not sure. I just bought it about 6 weeks ago.
