Hello everyone. I looked high and low, but couldn't find any install pictures. So I decided to do one. I ordered the airlift 1000hd ( black bags) and the wirelessone compresssor. Any questions/advice will be appreciated. First timer, so please, bear with me while I try to load the pictures.

It was hard to get the bags in place. In my case, I didn't want to take the wheel eell cover off, so it was easier to go from the top towards the bottom. After both bags were in, routed the hose inside the frame crossmember. I decide to add the Schrader valve in case the compressor dies ( knock on wood) I routed the hose on top of the spare wheel space.

Then it was just adjusting the valve to one of the holes on the receiver.

After every thing was set, I started on the compressor. I have a tradesman with the ramboxes, so I decide to put the compressor in the driver's side. It was hard to get the bottom screws in, since I couldn't see the holes. My ram is s 2012, so I can't comment on other years, but my ramboxes have very few places touching the frame, that's why I put the ground cable from the compressor into an existing screw. The rest of the box is all plastic, so I used red thread locker on them, to try and prevent it from coming loose because of vibration

Nice write up. I didn’t do the onboard compressor when I did my bags. I’m interested how it holds up.

To connect to cables, the red stripe attaches to the solid red from the compressor. I decided to use the male to female attachments, since it won't see any water. For the power, went under the carriage toward the firewall, attaching every thing with tie straps. Black cable goes to battery negative post. The red one, after attaching the fuse provided, I decided to piggyback it from fuse 15, which in my truck all it does is the cruise control. Had to not h the box for the cable to go in. Hopefully it won't cause any problems down the road.

Thanks Mustangmike66. Gotta say, the compressor is so quiet, I though I had messed up the connection but no, it was working. Aired it up yo 35 and had like 600 pounds in neighborhood kids on the bed, and it barely even showed.

Thanks for detailed write up, I was looking at the same setup but with 5000 series. Did you noticed any difference in the ride without any load?

I have a 2017, and just put the Airlift Wireless One compressor on along with the Timber Grove bags. The System works great...

dyakovly, no difference in ride, just kept it at 5 pounds when empty. Loaded about 900 pounds of old books on Tuesday, and I was amazed at the difference in hauling. Truck felt leveled out, and the front more planted, as opposed as before.

Update, had to change the fuse that the compressor was drawing power from. I was using #15, the cruise control one, but had to turn on the cruise control on in order to work. Piggybacked from fuse M6, the one that control the power outlet. So far, so good.
