Thats the wire I connected to. Only the dash lights flash. Unless I killed the fuse. Haven't checked yet.

Any luck? I tried several of the other wires. With no luck. The white/light green is the only one that does anything. But only the interior lights like I said.

I don't remember seeing an white/orange wire. Is there a diagram anywhere? I have an alldata subscription, but I can't find an diagram that helps.

Here are the only wires coming out of my headlight switch.

2 white/yellow stripe wires.
2 orange/black stripe wires.
1 black/orange stripe wire
1 white/light green stripe wire.

I know where the white/yellow and white/gray wires are. But shouldn't I try to find the wire that goes the relay coil? Pin 86 I believe? SO when the relay in the module sends power to it, it clocks and turns the lights on? Wire is that? I have a diagram in front of me that shows the 50a fuse going to the relay, then from there to the lights. But it doesn't say the color of the wires coming out of the relay.

What is the modle # and make of the unit your trying to install? Have you checked your fuses on the truck and on the alarm brain it's self? If your using the negative park lights try this..Parking lights are negative trigger thru a 270 or 590 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay.

How do I use a relay in it? The old system had a really small resistor on it. No relay that I can find. But the old system only had the one wire (that I know of.)

I tried the different resistors, and it made no difference.

It's a Python 514 system.

They are all okay. I hooked it up like the diagram but it didn't do anything at all. Plus, I'm not 100% sure how to hook it up since my alarm system has 2 wires for the lights.

Please guys I can't afford to pay $200+ to have someone else do it. I'm fully capable, I just need a hand. I appreciate all that has been done so far.

NO idea? Would it work if I go directly to the white/yellow and white/gray positive wires? How would I do that and still keep them separated? I assume they need to stay separated for the signals?

Okay here's an update. I got the locks to work. I still can't figure out the lights though. Now I am onto the remote start portion of the system. There are two wires from the system. One is a starter output, and one is a starter input. I connected the output wire to the yellow? wire under the dash. I don't know where to connect the other wire! You can see which wires I am talking about if you look at the pic I posted in the first post. It is under the heavy gauge connecter list.

Also just came across another problem. During the day i blew the 40 amp fuse for the blower motor. Not sure if that is connected to the issue I am about to explain, but I figured maybe. The issue is that the locks fork perfectly (and this is by using the switch on the door) if the ignition is off. Doors open or closed, and ignition off it works fine. If the door is open the locks only unlock. They won't lock. Why? I also believe that if the key is on, they do the same. The ONLY time they work correctly is when the ignition is off. Is this because I blew the fuse?

Okay well I replaced the fuse, but the locks still don't work right. They only work right when the door is closed. Doesn't matter if ignition is on or off. I did have to replace a section of wire in the door panel, and I used a heavier gauge wire for the section. Would that cause it?
