Are there other computer re-programmers out there besides the AlphaOBD? While the AlphaOBD seems to do lot of things, I'd like to compare it to others before I go buying something.

I'm going to say not really. You have JScan. I might be wrong, but it doesn't directly support trucks, it's mostly Jeep.
It is easier to use and nicer than AlphaOBD, which is ugly.

To pile on, AlfaOBD is extremely under priced IMO, has excellent support from the developer himself and works across many (all?) FCA vehicles.

App-car is really the only other alternative ... https://appcar-diagfca.com/en/
Had to look this one up, but there is also: AutoEngenuity
There were problems with making configuration changes to the vehicle with it.

Another vote for AlfaOBD with a MX or MX+ Bluetooth OBD adapter.

Thanks guys...I'll wait and see if anything else crops up when I decide to start modding it past easy-peasy bolt ons..

Why are you against AlfaOBD? It's the proven go-to, no real reason to look for anything else.

Did I saw I had anything against AlfaODB, I seem to remember asking about alternatives. You know, like what is a good alternative to the oil that Mopar remommends?

I didn't like the price of alfaodb, 60$ for a phone app is simply something I refuse to pay. Some less reputable people tend to upload phone apps to the internet for free, but I wouldn't know anything about that, certainly not.

$60 is ridiculously under priced IMO. He could double the price and you're still under the standard minimum $140 for each of the things AlfaOBD can do for you.
