Alfaobd county change

Hi All,

2015 ram 1500 longhorn with uconnect screen. I used alfaobd to convert the radio settings to EU, so I can get even numbers in the radio. I lost the radio sound, but phone and bluetooth is working. Youtube music the Bluetooth is working.

Without a clear explanation of why & where, most replies are likely to be along the lines of “use AlphaOBD to change it back”.

I tried to change it back to the USA configuration, but it did not allow me to do it

The car was imported from the US and I tried to change the radio configuration from USA to EU so I can get even number channels in the radio using alfaobd. The radio now in EU configuration. Bluetooth, USB, phone, and music is working, but there is no sound coming out of the radio.

I reset the Uconnect by pressing the volume and tune button together and no sound coming out of the radio. I removed the battery cable and put it back, no sound either.

You may need to reflash the firmware to recover. What setting/module did you change in the AlfaOBD menu?

Went to BCM, car configuration, country distention, then from USA to Germany. After that the radio sound has been lost. Couldn’t go back to the USA configuration.

Yeah, that might have changed global settings for the whole truck build, not just the radio. It will likely have changed things you didn't want changed. Did you take a backup? In the meantime, try to connect directly to the radio and see if there is a setting that will get you what you want.
