when trying to program a fob how long does it take? i can get it to start but just seems to stay there i have a 2019 and have got the bypass cable for the security system. is there something that i am missing when doing this.

Push button start fob, or regular fob? Where did you buy the fob? Is your 2019 a classic, or 5th gen?

I have noticed this to be true. When selecting 2013-2017 body computer you get less options rather than selecting a specific year like 2015, 2016 etc.... which gives more options.

Yes, I get a bunch of "2014 CBC..." Options when I choose my year and it connects to 2014-2017 Powernet instead of 2013-2017.

I have noticed this to be true. When selecting 2013-2017 body computer you get less options rather than selecting a specific year like 2015, 2016 etc.... which gives more options.

Do you think if I change my vehicle Year from 2014 to 2015 under car configuration I would be able to access the other options?

No. It will automatically only reveal the options for your BCM. You can manually force other years BCM options using advanced mode on the windows version.

what other features does the windows version have?
I know a while ago the 2 versions were the same with the android being more stable"
but if there are actual advantages to go to windows version say like "long coding" in forscan / VCDS

I think you can change the year in the configuration.

Mine is an early 2017 and shows up as a 2016. But I have a feeling a lot if not all 2017 show up as 2016. Like it shows the earliest year of the "generation" of BCM. 2016-2017 shows as 2016, 2018-2019 shows as 2018, etc.

I have a question about the interior lights. How do you change the courtesy light to LED on Alfa?

and I’m getting a side marker code. Any ideas on changing it in Alfa? I have LEDs all around and inside. Those are the only two codes I haven’t been able to get rid of

Interior lights won't set a code. Make sure you have both turn and parking lights set to led, not just turn. Same for the rear if you changed those.

The code is for the courtesy light. I’m not sure why it would be going off then.
