Ok as usual just wait 30 more minutes and everything works out lol. The Power Fold CSM was my mistake, I didn't realize at first that was the Auto Power Fold deal that we know does not work, so I removed it. But normal power fold and tilt in reverse is good to go...

I just applied the settings from the AlfaOBD Known Working Settings doc on google drive:

Auto Dim High Beams:

Auto Highbeam
Select “yes”

Interior EC Mirror Present
Select“yes”

Smart Beam Present (AHBM)
Select “yes"

Auto High Beam Module Location
Select “ECC_AHBM"

Auto High Beam CSM
Select “yes”

Plus if not already set:

Interior EC Mirror Present (Rear view mirror)
Select "yes"

And then Under “program customer features”
EC Mirror Auto Dim (Rear view mirror)

But this last one just checks the box in settings, which you can do manually once it appears anyway.

So everything is working except puddle lights. Looking at the mirrors I wonder if I even have them - I had assumed the premium mirrors would have them by default, but I don't see the separate single LED on the underside. I do see several LED's on the bottom of the turn signal lamp, which I assumed would be puddle, but maybe not. They are amber, wouldn't puddle lamps be white? These came off a 2014 2500 Limited - maybe they just didn't have puddle lights on 2500's? Or in 2014? If not I can live without them, the Fold and Tilt in Reverse is the main things I was after. Plus the chrome looks good :).

The puddle lights are in the same lense. You have them.

OK cool, maybe it's just too bright outside. Will check later when it's darker

They are pretty obvious even during the day. Who knows maybe more time will help.

My mirrors look the same and I didn't get puddle lamps working either. I thought the mirrors just didn't have them. Power fold, tilt on reverse, dimming, etc all work fine.

There is most likely a code we are missing. I had mine activated by the dealer a few years ago so I haven't done this one but I think Ghost_Ram got his working if I'm not mistaken.

The code that activated mine was:

Doors Configuration:
Puddle Lamp Present: Set

Mine are tow mirrors with the puddle lamps on the underside of the arms, separate from the turn signals.

Anyone possibly know what setting I changed. I am getting ambient temp sensor error with check engine light. 2c397de68115daf3ac7211d2a14c7eff.jpg

I got the puddle lights working, but only after I also activated the below, in addition to Puddle Lamps Present setting:

Car configuration change: Ambient Lighting Present: ' NO ' -> '1 ' (YES) (EDIT - NOT NEEDED)

This one made them work:
Car configuration change: Mirror Approach Lights Present: ' NO ' -> '1 ' (YES)

I didn't realize I set both at the same time, so not sure if one of the two did it, or the combination of the two. I also changed from Rebel Splash To Limited, but that's EVIC display only.

I'll drop one of the above and see if I loose puddle to see if we can narrow it down.

What year are the mirrors you installed? They need to be for a 13 or newer for the temp sensor.

Sorry just remembered you said they were off a 14. First thing I would reccomend is check to make sure the temp sensor is on the drivers side mirror if it is then you either have a problem with the temp sensor on the mirror or you somehow changed a code. First thing I would reccomend is check the mirror for a temp sensor. If it doesn't have one that's your problem. If it does have one I would reccomend installing your old drivers side mirror and see if it helps. If it does it's the mirror if it doesn't it is most likely something you changed.

Then you most likely changed the temp sensor location. Did you notate all if your changes? You most likely made a change to the outside mirror instead of the rearview mirror with the tool.

That's what I was attempting to change then I read and it said that it did not have to be set.
