Anyone know how to disable the TPMS on a 2011 Ram 2500? My uncle's longhorn no longer has the sensors in the wheels he just wants to do away with the light.

Has anyone tried any other bluetooth OBDII tool with ALFAOBD? I have this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_UOCWFbZWAAPVX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 it works great with Torque Pro, And ALFAOBD syncs with it. Just haven't had time to play, or figure out how to enable my fogs as DRL

Yeah I think somebody tried that one somewhere here and it cost them like $160 to get their BCM reflashed at dealer or maybe it didn't accomplish everything they wanted , I'm just not sure. I think if you searched somewhere in the 1261 pages on Alfa that you might find some more information about the tool you mentioned. The only sure thing is the MX or the MX + is the OBD tool recommended by the developer and has never had any issues working with a AlfaOBD as noted in post 1 of this thread.

Are you able to look at transmission CVIs with Torque Pro? I tried with Alfa and couldn’t get them to show, i have the BAFX scan tool.

I can see plotted data for CVI values for the 66 and 68RFE (connected to the PCM) using AlfaOBD....and the MX.

Am i doing something wrong then? I selected RAM 1500 -> Body Computer -> Engine and i can’t see anything other than torque converter stall speed and a few things to do w the engine like timing etc.

Not body computer. Engine > chrysler powertech/pentastar/hemi. I use windows version to do it, so I select tabs 20 and 20 in plotted data.

Oh yeah that one, forgot about that option, that’s the one i was selecting. It could have something to do with me using the mobile version so i’ll have to take my laptop out there and check later.

That’s the one I use. Works great for everything, never had an issue with it. If you do a little research it’s most recommended right after the MX
Thanks. Worked like a champ this morning turning on my DRL fog lights. Now just have to wait for the on/off button to appear on my 5.0 radio

Does anyone know where to adjust the duration of time the bed lights & 3rd brake lights stay on when the truck is unlocked?

Don’t you do that through the radio/EVIC?

I've got an 2008 3500 6.7 Replaced the headlights, turns, and fogs with LED. All work fine, with the exception of the Left headlight. low-beam left will randomly turn off for about 1-2 secs, then come right back on, stay on for 45-90 secs, then do it again, then maybe 15-20 secs, then do it again.. Is this an AlfaOBD setting I can set, or do you think it's a bulb issue, since it only happens to the left headlight?

Also, unrelated, what's involved with resetting a TIPM with alfaobd? My truck has been down for a couple years, and recently put a new engine it in and getting it back on the road. There are several obd codes, and the SRS light is on. I read somewhere that possibly resetting the TIPM can fix this but the TIPM will need to be re-configured for the vehicle.. I verified this info in AlfaOBD, but I don't know what is required (or process) to reconfigure TIPM for the truck..
Thoughts/Info is greatly appreciated.

For your lights, first thing I would do is swap the bulbs, see if the issue follows the bulb or stays in the same location. My bet is on the bulb.

You may get more informed answers in the 06-12 alfaobd thread.

As far as the headlights go, I don't think alphaobd can change settings for led's in pre 13 truck's. Most likely will have to install resistors/canbus adapters
